The Tetra EasyCrystal Filter Pack filter cartridge is a replacement filter medium for use in the Tetra EasyCrystal internal filter. The filter cartridge is quick and easy to change without getting your hands wet. The white filter fleece performs the coarse pre-filtering function. For fine filtration with narrow pores, the green filter fleece is used. Special activated carbon is used to eliminate water discoloration and unpleasant odours. Thanks to the practical clip holder, the cartridge can be changed quickly and cleanly. The degree of filter contamination can be determined by the water flow rate. Depending on the filter type, it is cleaned every 14 days to 3 months when the flow rate is reduced by about half. Lukewarm tap water or, better, aquarium water is used to rinse the filter material. When using filter sponges, it is sufficient to simply squeeze them out. Never use hot or cold water for this, as it destroys useful filter bacteria.
