Tetra pH / KH Plus enables a precise and controlled increase of carbonate hardness in freshwater and marine aquariums. Not all aquarium water is created equal. Only when all parameters are correct does the aquarium offer all fish and plants a home where they feel comfortable and multiply. Thanks to Tetra's product innovations, produced in its own development and research laboratory, the aquarist gets the tools to turn their aquarium into an oasis of well-being for all inhabitants. Not all fish are the same - depending on their habitat, different species need different water values in which they can thrive and exhibit vital behaviour. Deviations in these can eventually lead to illness. Tetra pH / KH Plus enables a precise and controlled increase of carbonate hardness (KH). The pH value depends on the KH and the carbon dioxide value (CO2). If the CO2 value is constant, the pH value can only be influenced via the KH. Tetra pH / KH Plus is used to increase the carbonate hardness in, for example, aquariums with hard water fish that require a pH value of 7.5 to 8.5 and a water hardness of 10-15 °dH. The carbonate hardness and the pH value are precisely adjusted to planned or recommended values. It also serves to compensate for KH losses in marine aquariums and KH losses that often occur in densely populated tanks. Acute treatment of sudden acid drops is possible. The product offers high application safety and, thanks to its powder form, is very easy to dose and can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
